As Worlds Collide New Band Profile

As Worlds Collide ( Maidstone, England)

With big hair and even bigger energy, the South East’s As Worlds Collide are currently storming their way into the hardcore headlights. Having only been writing together for less than two years, the band are already starting to pave their way thorough the venues and support slots highly sought after by any new band. As a recent support act to the likes of Failsafe and Gallows bassist Stuart Gili-Ross’ side project Spy Catcher, the band are making headway in all the right places. Harking back to the sounds of Hell Is For Heros, and with gleanings of punk-pop ballads on tracks like Your Hearts On The Floor, the band shows there”s a sensitivity in their hard edges. Mixing it up with harsh and heavy tracks such as Hero In Error, AWC’s musical colours clearly cover the contemporary rock spectrum. Releasing their debut album, Denial In Style, in 2009, the band are currently writing tracks for a new EP as a follow up release. As yet unsigned, the band seems to be working hard with gigging, promotion and recording. 2011 looks set to be another busy year for the them, with shows already lined up and more to be announced. Stayed tuned to Planet-Loud TV for more coverage on the band in the very near future!
