Day Of Vengeance ( Florida,USA)

Formed back in 2009, Florida-based melodic hardcore kids Day Of Vengeance have just issued their debut album for Red Cord Records to critical acclaim amongst the underground metal press. Blending together just the right amount of melody with some heart-stopping breakdowns, Days Of Vengeance fall very much into the same musical waters that bands like Killswitch Engage and their melodic metal brethren occupy. Now this isn’t to say that Day Of Vengeance are another watered down radio-friendly metal band because as a good portion of their sound shows, when their well-produced hardcore kicks in, it really possesses the sort of bite and snap that you certainly won’t forget. All in all, while the underground status of this band and their label may mean that this release may go largely unnoticed in the bigger picture, as far as underground hardcore and metal goes, there are few bands as solid and impressive as this.
