Dead Letter Circus ( Brisbane, Australia)

The name of Brisbane’s Dead Letter Circus may not ring any bells for you yet, but if their progress down-under is anything to go by, that won’t be the case for very long. Reaching #1 on the Australian album chart with debut record ‘This Is The Warning’ and having shared stages with Muse, Biffy Clyro and Linkin Park among others, the four-piece are superstars in the making in their homeland, something that’s none too difficult to understand once you hear a sample of their expansive, emotion-rich, and impressively constructed alt-rock. Yes, they have become huge, but the difference to the norm here is that from all indications so far, they very much deserve to be. It may have taken them five years, but this could be the time that Dead Letter Circus truly make an impact over here on our shores. As far as we can tell the record’s only available as an import so far, so fingers crossed for a European release soon.
