Fourth Autumn

A quick scan down the track listing on the debut album from South Wales blackened death metallers Fourth Autumn and you get the impression that these guys don’t take themselves too seriously. With titles like Don’t Stop Bereavin’ and Rotting Hill, thoughts turn to the dark humoured brutality of bands like The Rotted/Gorerotted. Go one further though and plunge yourself into the filth of Mock The Weak and you’ll find who are very serious about what they do. Sitting comfortably in the Black Dahlia Murder pool of death metal, Fourth Autumn’s sound, while being fairly safe in terms of the boundaries of the genre, is delivered with the sort of infectiously heavy chug that will get them noticed once they make it out of their South Wales scene. Mock The Weak is out on the 23rd January through Rising Records.
