New Jersey outfit Set It Free are perfect for the Summer months – uplifting, soaring pop-tinged rock – just the sort of thing you need for long days spent in the balmy Summer weather. You see, it’s not all about breeze-block heavy metal, sometimes you need to flip the switch and chill out for a bit and Set It Free provide just the right soundtrack for that. Like the best summer afternoons, Set It Free are relaxed, cool and not too strenuous on the brain. Their melody based sound is the work of long time friends Andrew Williams and Joey DeAngelo who, with the help of Mike Gurnari, bassist Patrick Dwyer and drummer Victor Pascale have created a sound that epitomizes their mindset of “living everyday with freedom and a positive outlook in life”.
