If you pardon the phrase, you’ve got to have some bollocks to describe yourself as a ‘female fronted Foo Fighters’ or an ‘edgier British version of Paramore’ but that is what Brit rockers The Karma Heart have done so they’d better have the tunes to back up such bold statements. And you know what? One spin of their debut album Throw Your Light shows that, fuck me, they certainly have the material to back up these brave statements. Combining the hard edginess you can hear in bands like the Dirty Youth with the punk rock melodies you can hear in bands like The Hype Theory, there is a certain raw, rough swagger about The Karma Heart that will grab your attention and, trust us, they will grab your attention as they rock your world hard.
