INTRODUCING INTERVIEW | MORE INTERVIEWS | SUBMIT MATERIAL Can you introduce yourselves please? We are Feed the Rhino from the dirty south..Also known as Kent in England. Can you give us a quick background to the band? When you formed, any CDs out? We formed in March 2009 all falling off the back of previous bands. We jumped straight in the studio and recorded our full length LP 'Mr Red Eye' due to be released in 2010 on In at the Deep End Records. Why did you form a band? We formed a band because we are all influenced by great bands and we wanted to bring that back into the game. We like to work hard, play hard, drink hard and party hard. Which band or musicians have had the biggest impact on your life? Anything that is genuine and passionate. We love alot of different styles of music and I think that comes across on our album. The one thing that ties it all together is the whole record is a ridiculously heavy riff-fest! Can you describe your sound to our readers? Big, loud, in your face! Pure hardcore rock and roll to the max. Describe your live show to us.. Out and out intensity, we sweat and bleed our live performances, this is what we live for. Tell us about your first gig together? Stripped down, hardcore show, in some shit hole back home like the old school, it was amazing, chaos. Any funny gig stories you can tell us about? There was this gig where our guitarist had one too many sherberts and knocked over the pa speaker which killed the power to about 8 streets. What are your goals with the band? To be up with the best, play the biggest festivals and play in front of the biggest crowds and to tour the arse off it! What do you think about the rock scene at the moment? The scene is full crap, every now and then there might be a good band that comes through but to be honest we think it needs a big kick in the bollocks. What are your upcoming plans? To get involved, stir up the scene, make some noise, turn some heads. Which member of the band has the most annoying habit? That would be our drummer 'Chris' he slurps his drinks, smacks his lips and can only eat his Mums sandwiches. If you had a question for any musician out there alive or dead, who would it be for and what would the question be? To Elvis Presley 'did you wipe your arse before you snuffed it?' What advice would you give someone thinking of forming a band? Errrm, now this is a tricky one??? Got it... pull ya socks up, pull ya pants down and don't forget your banjo string.
