NEW BAND PROFILE As My World Burns Madrid, Spain VIEW COMMENTS [0 Comments] | ADD COMMENTS Don’t let the slightly generic, metal-core name of this band fool you. The Spanish, ten-legged, monster have been taking Madrid by storm since the end of 2007. The lethal combination of brutal and intense riffs with melodic vocals is also a tried and tested formula. After taking the MoralRock Festival by storm last year, these boys from Collado Villalba are set to release their debut album “Letters From Alaska” shortly. New song, Clocks, which you can hear on the groups Myspace, uses frenetic breakdowns and vocals reminiscent of 36 Crazyfists’ Brock Lindow. A massive melodic chorus comes as a bit of a surprise at first but serves only to display a variety of vocal methods possible. Hopefully on the upcoming album, the band will display a wide variety of songs to show this. The relentless energy of the As My World Burns should keep this as one metal-core band, out of many hundreds and thousands, to keep an eye out for in the future.Posted on 22 January 2010 by Tom Dickins Find As My World Burns on Myspace Find videos of As My World Burns on Youtube Related Tags 36 Crazyfists USER COMMENTS - 0 Comments ADD COMMENT |
