Gacys ThreadsGacys Threads, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, probably didn’t put too much thought into their band name but their ferocious, hardcore metal should make sure that you never forget it. Live, they have all the energy and intensity of any metal band out there. With the recently released EP, “Savour Your Scars”, it’s the green light for this band to explode. Drummer, Stephen Currie, and guitarist Blane Doherty formed the band purely to express their love for all sounds heavy and relentless. Mixing a heavy hardcore sound with an experimental ambient vibe, it’s not a music style that’s easy to come across. After impressive support slots with Cancer Bats, Fucked Up, August Burns Red and Malefice, Gacys Threads have proved they can perform at the same level as the very best.
